Lumetric is joining Factory

We are excited to share that Lumetric has been acquired by Factory.

When we started Lumetric, we had a simple conviction: high-leverage teams deserve AI systems that understand context, operate across tools, and produce useful work. That focus shaped how we think about applied AI, and from our earliest conversations with Factory, it was clear we shared the same belief.

Why Factory?

Factory's mission is to bring autonomy to software engineering. As software eats the world, that work increasingly touches product, operations, design, finance, and more.

Factory is deepening its investment in a model-agnostic system that make autonomous work faster, more reliable, and closer to how ambitious teams already operate. We are proud to be part of that effort.

What's next?

As Factory's Droids take on longer-horizon work, teams need agents that understand intent, operate across tools, validate their output, collaborate with humans, and improve over time. Our experience building applied AI products complements Factory's platform, and we will be helping shape the next generation of the Factory Desktop App.
