Set Up A Daily Executive Briefing in 10 Minutes

TL;DR

In 10 minutes, you can stand up a daily executive briefing that lands in Gmail each morning—no code, just Google Calendar and Gmail. Expect faster decisions, fewer status pings, and 30–60 minutes saved per leader each week.

The problem

Leaders lose time hunting for updates across apps, chasing metrics, and skimming long threads. Meetings multiply because context is scattered, and risks surface late. You need one short, reliable briefing—delivered automatically—so you can act, not search.

Outcome preview (what lands in your inbox)

By 7:30am, you open one Gmail label and see:

  • Today’s meetings with links and attendees
  • 3–5 headlines from new relevant to your industry or interests.
  • Any important emails that may have slipped through the cracks or need your attention.

Step-by-step (10 minutes, no code)

  • Signup for Lumetric
  • Go to “Integrations” and sign in to your Gmail and Google Calendar
  • Create a basic agent and click to give it access to your connected accounts.
  • Click “Create Task” and paste the following:

Goal:

- Today’s meetings with links and attendees from Google Calendar

- 3–5 headlines from news relevant to your industry or interests.

- Any important emails from my Gmail that may have slipped through the cracks or need your attention.

For Google Calendar:

- Extract the meeting name, description, attendees, time (and a meeting link if needed)

For Industry News:

- Focus on {INDUSTRY}, with a focus on any breaking or actionable news. If nothing exists, fallback to broader industry or general business stories that would show up in something like the WSJ.

For Gmail

- Focus on emails that came in overnight that need my attention or emails from the past 1-2 days I have yet to respond to.

Your response should be in a well formatted, html styled email that is clean and professional.

And that’s all you need

That’s how simple it is to stand up powerful automations on Lumetric. No complicated drag and drop interfaces or code. Everything is in natural language, just like you’d talk to an actual employee or assistant.
